2016-2017 The British Council (UK)

 

1: Soft Power X-Whitehall Fund

We led the development and negotiation of access to cross-Whitehall funding for multi-grant bids in excess of £166m for programme activity in priority countries.

 

2: Workforce restructuring

We led and developed a strategy for the realignment of UK workforce planning.

2017-2020 Cambridge Assessment (UK)

1: Pakistan Education Sector Reform

We supported contract pursuit, led in-country workshops and designed the work streams for this contract.

2: Business Development Strategy

We led, designed and negotiated a revised business development strategy for Cambridge Assessment International.

3: Guana Education Reform

We coordinated and developed the revised education contract strategy for Ghana.

4: DfID education framework contracts

We coordinated, developed and wrote the strategy for framework contracting in assessment.

5: Gender, Equity and VfM in contracting

We led gender and equity contracting workshops and designed the strategy for value-for-money in donor bidding.

6: Contract development and bid pursuit

Support for the design, development and delivery of large-scale education assessment and capacity development contracts in Bangladesh, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Malawi and Tanzania.

7: Risk management

We led a series of workshops and provided a strategy on risk management and donor contracting in high-risk environments

8: Theory of Change, log frames and performance contracting

We led, designed and developed workshops, training programmes and support for the business development team on ToC, log frames and adaptive contract management.

9: Monitoring Evaluation and Learning

We led, designed and supported a revised strategy for MEL in contract activity in Ethiopia, Ghana, Lebanon and Pakistan.

Designing, developing and leading a series of 4 Masterclasses for senior CPE staff on internal education contracting.

Undertook due diligence assessment of an international education group with offices in the UK, India, Japan and Thailand, completing a quality assurance audit and recommendations.
 

2018-2019 MBU Capital (UK)

 

1: Due diligence review Nigeria

We undertook a due diligence review of Nile University to review its operational impact for 4 weeks.
 

2: Governance reform Nigeria

We led a formal review of the  governance and structure of Nile University in Abuja for 4 weeks.
 

3. Capacity building Nigeria

We designed, led and implemented capacity building training for senior staff at Nile University for 4 weeks.

We designed and led an evaluation strategy for the MBU on the effectiveness of Nile University.

 

2019 AADF (Albania)
 

1: Governance reform

We led and developed a new governance structure for the National Education Assessment Agency (NEAA) on behalf of AADF and the Ministry of Education.

2: Strategic review of services

We led, developed and agreed a revised business plan and service offer to the NEAA.

 

2019 USAID (Lebanon)

1: Communications and engagement strategy

We led, designed and developed a communications and engagement strategy for assessment reform for the Ministry of Education.

1: Business development

We supported the design and development of a bespoke high profile programme offer.

2: Programme review

We led a review of programme services for ACU with strategic recommendations.

3: Programme management strategy

We led a programme management review designed to improve systems, business planning and impact in the programme team.

4: Membership review

We have been commissioned to lead a membership review of ACU services.

5: Chevening tender

We were commissioned to design, develop and build the ACU Chevening proposition and lead the bid team for the £40m contract.

6: Shared Service review

We led an organization wide review to design, develop and implement a Shared Service structure for the ACU.

7: EU LEAP4FNSSAA Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy

We were commissioned to lead the development of the Monitoring and Assessment strategy for this EU/AU project involving 40 partners.

8: Digital University in Africa Report

We worked with the ACU and the British Council leading two research team in Kenya and Nigeria to assess the impact of quality assurance frameworks on digital delivery in Higher Education. This led to an evaluation report based on detailed analysis of evaluation frameworks, case studies and a literature review. We were responsible for the design and delivery of the report, the narrative and key sections of analysis.

9: Digital University in Africa Seminars and Roundtables

We led four roundtables on the report’s (see item 8) outcomes and evaluation with over 120 participants. The roundtables focused on the future strategy for quality assurance frameworks and hybrid learning.

 

10: Change Management

We are leading an ACU-wide change management programme on shared services and culture change.

11: Pakistan Higher Education review

We were commissioned to undertake a policy review report on HE in Pakistan and future ACU activity. This also included virtual round tables with education leaders in Pakistan, Malaysia and the UK.

 

12: Scholarship Review

We were tasked with undertaking a Quality Assurance and systems review of a scholarship scheme and provide strategic advice and guidance of system strengthening.

2019-2020 Edinburgh University’s Edinburgh Future’s Institute

 

1: Stakeholder engagement

Co-designed and delivered workshops and led stakeholder interviews on the content for new Master’s on Future Inclusive Societies and Future Education.

2: Curriculum development

Collaborating on the design of the curriculum, and identification of strategic partners for the Future Inclusive Societies and Future Education Masters.
 

2020-2021 World Bank Kazakhstan

 

1: Education modernisation

We have been commissioned to support contract development activity on secondary education reform.

2021 British Council Project Management

1: Framework contract supplier for BC Sub-Saharan Africa project management

We have been appointed as a core supplier for the British Council in SSA to provide project management services and support in education and evaluation.
